Citroën’s Digital Delight with What Van? Best Website Award
Citroën has just won the What Van? 2015 Best Website Award in the face of tough competition from the online offerings of other major LCV manufacturers.
Supported by light commercial leasing giant Leaseplan, the What Van? Award was presented to Citroën’s Adam Hurren at a ceremony in London (16 December).
“A strong digital presence is becoming increasingly vital in the light commercial vehicle market, with rapid and straightforward access to information an important differentiator,” said What Van? Editor, Paul Barker. “Citroën was a clear winner in our analysis of the major van brands’ online offerings, with particular credit to its ease of use, van configuration tool and mobile site, which was the best in the market by some distance. Well done to Citroën on providing the van manufacturers’ website that best serves the needs of the industry and a site that manages to successfully blend design and functionality.”
The What Van? Awards are decided by the expert editorial panel of What Van? Magazine, calling on their combined decades of experience in the light commercial vehicle industry. These awards seek to reward the best products, companies and services in the industry for their ability to make life easier, cleaner, safer and more efficient for light commercial vehicle operators in the UK.
Adam Hurren, Citroën’s Manager – Commercial Vehicle & Business Programmes, commented; “As a successful supplier of LCVs, Citroën is very much aware of the importance of an excellent website as part of its LCV marketing and sales programme. The company is delighted that the quality and ease of use of its website has been recognised as the best available in the UK LCV sector.”
