Grip Control (part of safety plus pack (option on XTR))
For even more road holding - Grip Control is an advanced anti-skid system that adapts to circumstances to optimise traction in all situations. Using a selector, you can choose one of the four modes available to suit the current driving conditions; normal, all-terrain, snow or sand.
Hill start assist (part of safety pack and safety plus pack)
Make hill starts easier with Hill start assist (combined with ESP. It keeps your car stable for two seconds when you take your foot off the brake pedal on a slope of 5% or more. This gives you time to transfer your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator (no more handbrake hill starts!).
Cruise control/speed limiter
Positioned on the steering wheel, the cruise control/speed limiter function helps to make a more relaxed drive. Perfect for those long motorway journey's the cruise control keeps your Berlingo at a set speed without using the accelerator pedal and it can be easily switched off via the button on the steering wheel.
The speed limiter keeps your Berlingo within the limit set by the driver. It can also be turned off easily by using the button on the steering wheel or by pressing hard on the accelerator.
Rear parking sensors
Make easy work of tricky parking spaces in town with optional rear parking sensors as part of the Detection Pack. Ultrasound sensors in the bumper tell you where and how close any obstacles are.
Automatic rain-sensitive windscreen wipers
As part of the optional visibility pack you gain automatic rain sensitive windscreen wipers and automatic headlamps for even greater safety on the road.
Onboard computer
The multi-function onboard computer feeds you vital information like distance travelled and average fuel consumption. Scrolling through information is easy - just use the switches underneath the steering wheel.
