HDi technology

The HDi engines set the benchmark in their category for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. Their electronically controlled system optimises the air/fuel mix and significantly reduces pollution by cutting emissions and fuel consumption by up to 20%.

Particulate filter

The diesel (HDi) engines on the Citroën Berlingo Multispace are fitted with a particulate filter (DPFS), which traps and burns the particles produced by the engine. This brings the level of particulate emissions from the car to barely measurable levels and beyond even future EU environmental standards.
