The HDi engines set the benchmark in their category for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. Their electronically controlled system optimises the air/fuel mix and significantly reduces pollution.

The HDi 110hp engines on the Citroën Berlingo are fitted with a particulate filter (DPFS), which traps and burns the particles produced by the engine. This makes already low particulate emissions drop to levels that can barely be measured.
