With its manual and EGS 1.0i petrol engines and low weight, the C1 keeps fuel efficiency high (combined) and CO2 emissions low:
- 4.5 l/100km and 103 g/km for the petrol engine with the manual gearbox
- 4.6 l/100km and 106 g/km for the petrol engine with the EGS gearbox

Here at Citroën we're conscious that the components that make up your typical car, like; steel, glass, or fluids are already widely recyclable and recycled, so now we're ensuring that an increasing share of plastics comes from sustainable sources. The result? 15% of Citroën's C1 are made using ‘green’ materials: recycled plastics, natural materials (plant fibres, wood) and bio-materials (polyamides stemming from non-fossil renewable sources). However we haven't forgotten the other 85%! With Citroën C1 we have created a vehicle that is 85% recyclable and 95% recoverable.
