The Citroën C3 Picasso offers a choice of two advanced technology petrol engines: the VTi 95 and VTi 120, with multi-valve cylinder heads and better fuel intake management that reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

The HDi diesel engines on the Citroën C3 Picasso are fitted with a particulate filter, which traps and burns the particles produced by the engine. This brings the level of particulate emissions from the car to barely measurable levels.

The HDi engines set the benchmark in their category for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. Their electronically controlled system optimises the air/fuel mix and significantly reduces pollution. The C3 Picasso offers a choice of two HDi engines; the HDi 90 and HDi 115.
