As well as having a wide range of uses and applications, and being a genuine pleasure to drive, the Citroën Berlingo Multispace comes with a choice of engines to suit your needs and desires. There are two 1.6i petrol engines – one with an impressive 90hp, and one with slightly higher torque and more pulling power with 110hp – both offering low carbon emissions for their class and up to 41.5mpg fuel economy. Then there are three 1.6 litre turbodiesel units, offering between 75, 90 and 110hp and at least 49.6mpg fuel consumption on a combined cycle. All diesel versions of the Citroën Berlingo Multispace keep CO2 emissions to a minimum. The HDi 110hp engine includes a Diesel Particulate Filter System (DPFS), so is the most powerful yet has the lowest CO2 emissions of the three at just 147g/km.
All have five-speed manual transmission for better fuel consumption, control and manoeuvrability, especially when towing or carrying heavy loads or negotiating town traffic and tight parking spaces.
