The Relay Back-to-Back Cab is an innovation that provides customers with not one, but two vehicles on which to base conversions. It consists of two cabs bolted together that when separated offer the perfect base on which to add any specialist conversion. It is particularly popular for the creation of vehicles like specialist car-transporters. The cabin, which mirrors the Relay Chassis Cab, is packed with class-leading features to increase safety, security, ease-of-use and driving pleasure.
The equipment range is impressive, too. There are so many standard features on each of the cabs that really set it apart from the competition - safety features include ABS, Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) and driver’s airbag; every one is fitted with a transponder immobiliser and deadlocks for optimum security; Extended 2.2m twin lens door mirrors are electrically heated and adjustable for added driving visibility; there is even lockable storage in the cabin big enough for laptop computers and the latest RDS CD/Radio stereo system... the list goes on. It is also one of the most comfortable and driver-focused chassis cabs in its class. The cabin is quiet, ergonomically laid-out and is available with passenger seats that can fold down to create a spacious worktop on which you can easily use a laptop or do your paperwork, so it is a comfortable extension of the office when you need it. To help keep your driver notes in order and close at hand, there is even a document clipboard integrated into the top of the dashboard.
You can feel safe and confident on the road in the Relay with additional safety features like the programmable over-speed warning, which alerts you should you exceed the speed limit set, and the optional adjustable pneumatic rear suspension will ensure a smooth, steady ride for you and your load, whatever the road conditions.
