Citroëns are famous for their reliability and economy but they are also complex pieces of engineering.
By extending your warranty for a further 1 or 2 years cover you can relax safe in the knowledge that you are covered for both mechanical and electrical failures. You also have the satisfaction of knowing that, should the unthinkable happen, any repairs will be undertaken within our network of authorised repairers using only Citroën Genuine Parts. So you are guaranteed maximum repair quality and preservation of your vehicle’s performance.
Citroën strongly believes that you have the right to uncompromised protection. That is why our extended warranty has no limit to the number or value of claims, providing they do not exceed the purchase price for the vehicle. There is also no excess charge when you make a claim. This is how we demonstrate our commitment to our valued customers.
SUMMARY OF COVER
This warranty is available for cars up to the age of 36 months old and under 60,000 miles at the date of purchase. If you are a commercial vehicle owner, please contact your local dealer now for further information.
What is covered?
Cover against the cost of mechanical or electrical repairs or replacement required as a result of a manufacturing or material defect provided the necessary work is completed by a Citroën Authorised Repairer using Citroën Genuine Parts.
What is not covered?
No responsibility will be accepted under the warranty extension where the repair or replacement is required as a direct result of:
- The vehicle having been damaged by corrosion, neglect, accident, fire, improper use or having been used for competition purposes
- The vehicle having been modified or altered from Citroën’s original specification
- The use of non-Citroën parts
- Normal wear and tear
The warranty extension does not cover any consequential loss/damage, repairs regarded as maintenance operations or items which are subject to adjustment / replacement during normal service. Such items include the following:
wiper blades, drive belts, brake pads and hand brake adjustments, wheel balancing/alignment, lamp assemblies, bulbs and fuses, headlamp adjustment, engine tuning, spark plugs, wheels and tyres, all body panels, paintwork or glass replacement, reprogramming of ECU’s.
