Citroën UK Launches New TV Campaign For C3 Aircross Compact SUV

- Broadcast on TV from Monday 13 January in the UK, the campaign will also be shown via Video On Demand (VOD) and in cinemas
With over 260,000 sales since launch at the end of 2017, Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV has been able to assert itself in its segment by providing a unique and practical offering to its customers, inspired by everyday life. To support the model’s market positioning, Citroën UK is introducing a new advertising film using an endearing, 100% ‘Inspired By You’ storyline. Who, as a child, did not try out a whole load of extra-curricular activities before finding the one that suited them best? It is this search, with its share of failures and discoveries along the way, which is at the heart of the film’s storyline. Devised by Citroën, and its agency Traction (BETC Group), the film is set to an original composition from Yann Tiersen, ‘Amélie’s Waltz’ (‘Valse d’Amélie’).
The film tells the story of a young girl and her father, who is always by her side. Despite a few scratches from mountain biking and some misshapen pottery, Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV is a part of all of their activities, taking on all sorts of roads with ease. C3 Aircross Compact SUV – like other models in the Citroën range – can be specified with the innovative Grip Control® system with Hill Descent Assist. Grip Control® technology offers five different driving modes, such as Sand, Snow and Mud, with all settings optimised to maximise traction on difficult terrain, making it easier than ever to go on that next big adventure.
The campaign also highlights the versatile interior of C3 Aircross Compact SUV, with handy features including the two-part sliding rear bench seat that is standard equipment on the UK best-selling ‘Flair’ trim. The sliding two-part bench offers the choice between increased boot space or more rear legroom. Sliding the seats forward also provides easy access to the top tethers on the seat backs when installing car seats – there is no need to reach through the boot, as is the case with some rivals. The outstanding level of practicality on ‘Flair’ version is rounded off with a dual level boot, with a capacity up to 520-litres.
Finally, at the end of the film, in front of a packed auditorium and under her father’s proud gaze, the young girl plays a magnificent cello solo. Father, daughter and instrument then set off on board Citroën C3 Aircross Compact SUV: Let L’Adventure Begin!
