Kris Meeke and New Look DS 3 WRC in Action at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Citroën has confirmed that Citroën Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team driver Kris Meeke will be appearing at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed, in his DS 3 WRC.

Meanwhile, the Citroën C4 Cactus and New C1 Airscape will also be venturing up the famous Goodwood Hillclimb as part of the Moving Motor Show.

Securing his maiden World Rally Championship victory at Rally Argentina in April, British driver Kris Meeke will be appearing at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking place on 25-28 June, in the newly liveried DS 3 WRC. Meeke will be in attendance on both Saturday and Sunday, thrilling spectators with demonstrations on the Goodwood Hillclimb and spectacular Forest Rally Stage.

The theme of the 2015 Festival of Speed is ‘Flat-out and Fearless: Racing on the Edge’ – typifying the most phenomenal moments from motorsport’s most famous drivers. This includes celebrating icons such as the late great Colin McRae who was a mentor to Meeke in the early days of his rallying career, and to who Meeke dedicated his Rally Argentina win last month.

Gracing the Hillclimb this year as part of the Moving Motor Show, held on the Thursday of the event, will be the Citroën C4 Cactus and New C1 Airscape.

On Citroën’s main stand, visitors to what is known as the ‘largest motoring garden party in the world’, will be able to discover and explore all the latest technologies of the C4 Cactus, Grand C4 Picasso, New C1 and New C1 Airscape.

Last year Citroën’s Airbump trampolines proved highly popular with guests, and they will be featuring again at this year’s festival. In addition, Citroën will also have an ‘#AirDream Team’ performing throughout each day. These professional trampolinists will be putting on a 5 minute show, at 45 minute intervals, whilst encouraging visitors to get involved and have a go themselves.

Motorsport fans will also get the opportunity to meet Kris Meeke at the autograph signing sessions on the Citroën stand during the weekend.
