A Relay for every role
The Citroën Relay, or Jumper as it is known in other markets, is big in every sense of the word. There’s a big choice too with panel vans, chassis cabs, chassis crew cabs and Relay Specialist models. A wide range of Ready to Run conversions are also available, including tippers, dropsides, Luton vans, chiller/freezer vans, glass carrying vans and minibuses. Offering your business a combination of big load volume and some of the highest payloads available, we know there is a Relay for every role.
Economy and power
And, to ensure that the Relay operates at optimum efficiency we’ve also introduced a new range of fuel efficient, low emissions (from 38.2 mpg and 195g/km CO2) HDi diesel engines. The Relay Euro 5 power choice consists of the new HDi 110, HDi 130 and HDi 150 engines with an HDi 180 engine available for specialist ambulance applications. All have slick 6-speed manual gearboxes and all offer levels of fuel economy that put them ahead of virtually all their competition.
Dynamic navigation and tracking
As a further efficiency boost, all Relay panel van models are fitted with the advanced Trafficmaster Smartnav dynamic satellite navigation as standard. With live traffic updates,Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking, 24/7 personal assistance and emergency or breakdown support this system provides valuable benefits to all operators. Unique to this sector of the UK LCV market over 70,000 Citroën vans have been fitted with Trafficmaster Smartnav satellite navigation and trials of Trafficmaster Smartnav have shown a reduction of up to 10% in vehicle running costs, an improvement in fuel economy of up to 12%, and a 98% stolen vehicle recovery rate.
To ensure that the Relay meets all your business needs, it is available in a huge choice of sizes, with load capacities ranging from 8 to 17m3. All models offer one of the largest internal load widths (1870mm) and with an exceptional between the wheels arches width of 1422mm, every Relay van can easily swallow a minimum of 3 Euro pallets. For ease of access, every Relay panel van also has a full height side load door, large rear doors for maximum accessibility and some of the lowest load sill heights available.
