Customer Support Platform for 1.5 Blue HDi diesel engines

STELLANTIS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION CAMPAIGN FOR UK CONSUMERS CONCERNING THE CAMSHAFT CHAIN ON PREVIOUS GENERATIONS OF 1.5 BLUE HDI DIESEL ENGINES ​

The safety and satisfaction of our customers is Citroën's key priority.​

 

A customer satisfaction campaign for previous generations of the 1.5 Blue HDi diesel engines has been implemented, covering 100% of the costs for up to 10 years or 150,000 miles for both parts and labour, for camshaft chain issues provided that certain eligibility criteria are met.​

 

If you have already had repair expenses due to a breakage of the camshaft chain with this engine between January 1, 2023, and June 30, 2025, you may be entitled to apply to benefit from this customer satisfaction campaign.​

 

An online platform will be available from mid-July 2025 to enable you to submit your application online and provide the documents required for the assessment. This allows your application to be processed quickly and conveniently.​

There is an on-going recall campaign for some vehicles equipped with this engine, that will be handled with a staggered approach. As soon as your car is being recalled, you will receive a letter from us. You can also check with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) if your car is affected here. Please be aware that although your car may not have a campaign yet, it might be recalled at a later stage.​
