NEW Ë-C4 X: ELECTRIC CHARGING
CHARGE WITH EASE
New ë-C4 X Electric has been designed to make your life easier with technology that makes everyday tasks smoother. From the touchscreen or MyCitroën smartphone app, charging can be scheduled or postponed to take advantage of off-peak rates, for example. Inside the charging flap you'll find a colour-coded LED that helps you track the charging process, or you can check remotely on the MyCitroën smartphone app. Connecting the charger is also very easy thanks to the ergonomic charging port.
Cables can be stowed under the floor of the boot.
3 TYPES OF CHARGING
- WALL BOX: A home charging point (also known as a wall box) can be installed at your property: charging (0% to 100%) takes 7 hours 30 minutes with a single-phase power supply or only 5 hours with a 11 kW wall box, the optional 11kW onboard charger, and a three-phase power supply.
- PUBLIC CHARGING: At a rapid charging station (at 100 kW), you can charge the battery from 0-80% in just 30 minutes - a rate of 6.2 miles gained per minute charged. You can also benefit from the thousands of standard public charging points using the supplied Type 2 cable.
- STANDARD SOCKET: At home, for one-off or occasional needs, the battery charges to 100% in 24 hours on a standard socket using the 3-pin domestic cable, available as an accessory.
INTUITIVE INTERACTION FOR PEACE OF MIND
Citroën has made electric driving and charging simple.
The driver has a dedicated display on the digital dashboard to view the battery's status and range, as well as three displays to choose from: power indicator (electric meter), energy flow or heating / air conditioning use. The last of these shows the impact of vehicle heating and thermal comfort on energy consumption. Accessible directly via a button on the central console, specific pages of the touchscreen interface indicate the system's operating status or the settings of the battery's deferred charge. When the vehicle is charging, the screen can display the remaining time to reach a full charge, the recovered range or the percentage of the recovered battery charge.
