CITROËN SCOOPS THREE WINS IN BUSINESS VANS AWARDS 2021
Citroën continues to impress, gaining three prizes in the 2021 Business Van Awards. One award being the honoured ‘Best Electric Van’, which was handed to the new Citroën ë-Dispatch.
The 'Best Electric Van' title is the latest award bestowed upon the new Citroën ë-Dispatch, following on from numerous awards including What Van? 'Electric Van of the Year', Van Fleet World 'Van of the Year' and the highly coveted ‘International Van of the Year 2021’ prize.
The multi-award winning Citroën ë-Dispatch forms part of the brand's commitment to offer fully electrified variants of all models in the range by 2025, with all of the brands LCV models reaching this milestone by the end of 2021.
The 100% electric ë-Dispatch is capable of up to 205 miles (WLTP) with the larger 75kWh battery, with a smaller 50kWh version also available, offering up to 143 miles (WLTP). New ë-Dispatch can easily be charged at home through a 7kW wallbox, or a via a super-fast public charging station that can recharge 80% of the battery in just 30 minutes, at speeds of up to 100kW.
New ë-Dispatch also provides added financial benefits to businesses that need to drive in and around the Capital, as the vehicles' zero emissions make it exempt from both the London Congestion Charge and ULEZ. New ë-Dispatch will also continue to enjoy this benefit for years to come, unlike plug-in hybrid vans that will no longer be exempt from Congestion Charge from 25 October 2021.
For Citroën Berlingo Van, the 'Best Small Van' award from Business Vans is the latest in a number of wins for the vehicle, with its overall tally of awards now standing at 20 UK awards since launching in late 2018.
For 2021 alone, Berlingo Van has already received the 'Best Small Van' prize in the Company Car and Van Awards, and was highly commended in the Van Fleet World 'Compact High-Cube Van’ awards category.
Available as 'Medium' or 'XL' variants, Berlingo Van is up to 4.75m long, with a payload capacity of over 1,000kg, making it practical for a wide range of fleet and business needs. Berlingo Van can also be specified with a suite of the latest driving and safety aids, including Active Safety Brake, Intelligent Beam Headlights, Driver Attention Alert, Grip Control® with Hill Descent Assist, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition and Recommendation, and Surround Rear Vision.
Business Vans also recognised Citroën's work as one of the first manufacturers to offer ready-bodied conversions with its pioneering Ready to Run programme, awarding the brand the 'Best Manufacturer Conversion Programme' win. This award singles out an automotive brand that has excelled in converting vehicles. Through Citroën's Ready to Run programme, buyers can opt between Tipper, Dropside, Luton, Curtainside, Low-floor Luton and Crew Van conversions, with each vehicle guaranteed by a three-year/100,000-mile warranty and 24-hour roadside assistance.

Citroën was also highly commended by Business Vans in the 'Best Medium Van' category for the Citroën Dispatch, and in the 'Best Manufacturer Van Service’ category.
The Business Vans Awards are now in their seventh year. They are designed to recognise the brands that have stood out in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector over the past 12 months. The awards are judged by experts from a mix of trades and small fleets with the aim of providing operators with guidance on the best models for their business.
